They also have worked with Multi-platinum Producer/Engineer, Bill Klatt (Days of The New, Garbage, Jay-Z) who said about Shadows Lie, "This is one of the most talented and promising new rock acts to come out of New York City in years. They are a truly talented songwriting duo with a unique sound that is all their own."
Their 2007 debut LP entitled "Echoes" is entirely written, recorded, produced and performed by Kira and CT. The fusion of Kira's lyrics and vocal melodies and CT's guitar, bass, programming and production work form the basis of a fresh sound that uniquely melds sonic strength and emotional vulnerability. Kira and CT site among their diverse influences, Tori Amos, Tool, Incubus, Alice In Chains, Bjork and The Crystal Method. The often times aggressive yet hauntingly beautiful music that results, invokes comparisons to fellow female-fronted rock bands, Evanescence and Lacuna Coil.
