Share My Love, is One World's third album. Led by Frank Unzueta, the group's founder, lead vocalist, keyboardist and acoustic guitarist the group tries (as the name suggest) to bring a pan-Latino sound in the American mainstream - attempting to blend mambo and rock. That sounds familiar, of course, but One World lacks the fire and passion of its most obvious cultural relation - Santana.

One World displays their exquisite craftsmanship over a variety of songs, the Blues influenced "Orale", the Brazilian flavored "She Longed for His Love" and the Afro-Cuban rhythms of "Kongo". Numbers like Track 11 "My Love Where Are You?" are studio-flawless with lush vocals, strings, back up singers and overdubs. Technically, it's as close to perfectly proficient as a song can get.

And yet.the album is so professional, so smooth, and so well produced that it is pushed over into background music, having much more in common with the albums of Dave Sanborn than, say Los Lobos . You'll hear this one in coffeshops and in stores, and on "smooth" AOR radio stations.
